For a long time I wanted to develop the habit of reading books. But every time I started it, couldn’t finish it because of one reason or another. But last year, I finally decided that I will read one this year.

Here’s a list of books I read last year.

01. I am the Mind by Deep Trivedi.

It was a good mind opener. It talks about mind, conscious, subconscious & superconscious and how to let it flow free. I felt immense satisfaction on finishing my first book.

Then I couldn’t stop reading more books. Soon I bought a basic kindle as well.

02. Little Black Book for Stunning Success by Robin Sharma.

My second book was on a train journey, and it was It was a short book and a good read, full of success mantras. Honestly, I can’t recall any of the takeaways from that book right now.

03. The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari by Robin Sharma.

It was again a perspective widening book. It a nice fable with good take aways and detailed actions that can be applied in life.

04. The Power of your Subconscious Mind by Dr. Joseph Murphy

It was a great read and must read one time book for everyone. It talks about the subconscious mind in detail. It affected my life quality significantly and made me think more positively. And now I believe more in me.

05. Alchemist by Paulo Coelho

Very entertaining fable with interesting teachings. I just had to read it fast because I couldn’t wait to see what happens next. It’s also a must read.

06. Ego is the Enemy by Ryan Holiday

Well, This was one eye opening books. It has multiple stories of success and failures. We always know the success stories because they are famous. But we never get to know about the failures because they never made it to legend. And it also supports the stories with the inner reasons. Great read it was.

07. The Last Lecture by Randy Pausch

It was a great book that teaches about how life should be lived when you have a short time left. Which also tells how to live life in general. It contains personal stories and teachings of the author. Nicely divided lessons in chapters.

08. Deep Work by Cal Newport

A must read book for success in this fast moving tech world.

09. Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert T. Kiyosaki

My perspective flipped after reading this one.

10. Zero to One by Peter Thiel

Must read for building world changing products.
