I just updated my brain — A Small Step

I was reading this book called Eat That Frog!. And there was this one great tip that stood out to me.

When you want to become better version of yourself, you want to replace your existing habits with better ones. If you want new habits, you gotta remove the old ones.

If you can’t get rid of all the habits you want to remove, then just take your first step for now.

You just have to find a small habit you want to replace.

Ok, so let me give you my little habit example. Like everyone, I wanted more time to do good stuff and think good thoughts. So I decided to quit my habit of finger cracking. Now everytime I notice my cracking fingers, I just remind myself to do something better and I immediately stop doing it.

Now I have like 5 more minutes in the day. :D

Moreover, that’s directly taking me closer to how I want myself to be. A guy who doesn’t pop fingers in the meeting rooms.

Move one step at a time.

Just choose the small habit you wanna quit!

Thanks for reading. Claps and Follows would be heartily❤️ appreciated.
